Thymalin
Thymalin — natural thymic polypeptide extract that restores immune system function, reverses immune senescence, and rebalances T-cell populations in aged subjects.
- Reverses thymic involution — restores the immune organ that shrinks with age
- Increases naive T-cell output and corrects age-related immune imbalances
- Clinical evidence for all-cause mortality reduction in elderly populations
- Improves NK cell activity and adaptive immune responsiveness
- Synergistic with Epithalon for comprehensive longevity immune support

How Thymalin Works
The mechanism of action, step by step.
Thymic Regeneration
Thymalin contains the full complement of thymic peptides responsible for thymopoiesis. Administration partially reverses thymic involution — the progressive shrinkage of the thymus that begins in the mid-20s and accelerates with age, reducing naive T-cell output.
T-Cell Maturation
Thymalin promotes the maturation and differentiation of immature thymocytes into functional CD4+ and CD8+ T-cells, restoring the naive T-cell pool and correcting the age-related shift toward exhausted and senescent immune cells.
NK Cell Activation
Natural Killer cell cytotoxic activity declines with age. Thymalin administration increases NK cell proliferation and activity, improving immunosurveillance against abnormal and senescent cells.
Cytokine Rebalancing
Age-associated chronic inflammation (inflammaging) involves elevated pro-inflammatory cytokines and reduced regulatory cytokines. Thymalin modulates cytokine balance, reducing IL-6 and TNF-alpha while supporting IL-2-dependent T-cell responses.

Thymalin and longevity — 6-year mortality data in elderly cohorts
Elderly patients receiving annual thymalin courses over 6 years showed a 2.4-fold lower mortality rate compared to controls, with improvements in immune function, cardiovascular markers, and cognitive scores.
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2003Restoration of T-cell function in aged subjects following thymic peptide administration
Short-course thymalin administration in subjects aged 60-80 significantly increased naive CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell counts and improved mitogen-stimulated proliferative responses within 30 days.
International Journal of Immunopharmacology, 1995Thymalin and Epithalon combination therapy — synergistic immune and longevity effects
Co-administration of thymalin and epithalon produced greater improvements in immune parameters and cancer prevention metrics than either compound alone, suggesting complementary mechanisms of immune longevity.

Running with Epithalon — powerful combination
Two 10-day cycles using both thymalin and epithalon concurrently. CD4/CD8 ratio improved on my next blood panel. Subjectively: less illness, better energy through autumn.
Best compound for ageing immune system
I am 68 and my physician started recommending immune bioregulators three years ago. The annual trend in my NK cell activity and T-cell panel has been consistently positive.
Subtle but the labs show the difference
Not something you feel acutely but my immune markers were trending the wrong way and after two cycles they stabilised. Long game compound — trust the bloodwork.
